We are proud to announce that the 21st WONCA Europe Conference will be officially launched with an inaugural key-note presentation by Professor Michael Kidd. Michael is and will serve as World President from 2013-2016 until the next WONCA World Conference to be held, in Rio de Janeiro, in November 2016.

We are delighted to present the first edition of the ”programme at a glance” for WONCA Europe 2016.
We received a record-large number of session proposals and abstracts. Based on external reviews and a thorough assessment by the energetic Scientific Committee, we are proud of the result.

Meet Ulrika Sandén - our "patient voice" - in Copenhagen in June
Ulrika Sandén is a social worker pursuing doctoral research of cancer processes at the Ingvar Kamprad Design Centre, Lund University, Sweden. She is also a brain tumor survivor and her book about the trajectory as a surgical and oncological patient was on the literature curriculum of the Karolinska Institute medical school.

to the themes and the issues addressed by the keynote speakers; high quality
expertise within important aspects of future family medicine.
