Your introduction to Copenhagen starts with its heart – centuries old buildings surround canals, royal palaces and the spine of Copenhagen which is the pedestrian precinct of “Strøget.” There is an incredible range of architecture within a small area, renaissance, medieval, baroque, Dutch style and the ultra modern architecture with glass and steel. The drive will also take you past the world-famous Tivoli Gardens, the inspiration for Walt Disney, before driving by Christiansborg Palace, built on the site of the earliest fortifications of the city dating back to 1167, and now the seat of the Danish Parliament.

The journey starts by taking you on the coastal road passing fashionable and exclusive residential areas on the way to Elsinore where you will visit the impressive Kronborg Castle , which was the scene of “Hamlet”, one of the most famous and frequently performed stage plays in the world.
Since the 1600s, countless theatrical productions at the castle and at many other venues have endeavored to keep the legend of Hamlet alive. That is why Kronborg is now known all over the world as Hamlet’s castle, and Elsinore is known as the Town of Hamlet.

Tours can only be booked by officially registered delegates.

Tours can only be paid with credit card.

Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and mailed to ICS - International Conference Services A/S. Please note there is no refund of the tours paid if you wish to cancel.

If the tour is cancelled due to insufficient number of participants, notification will be given one month in advance and the full amount will be refunded.

If you wish to add additional tours, you will have to do so online.

All tours depart from central Copenhagen.

Tour tickets and detailed information will be handed to you together with your congress material at the congress.
